Description
The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, Department of Mining Engineering.
Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be
-
Assist Lecturers in delivering tutorials
-
Mark students' assignments and tests
-
Support student research projects
-
Participate in community outreach activities
-
Contribute to the University's income-generating projects
-
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chairperson
Qualification
-
Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language
-
Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
-
Applicants must have a degree classification of at least 2
-
1 and should have graduated no more than two (2) years at the time of applying
-
Applicants should be 30 years old or below
-
Successful applicants are expected to enroll for a relevant Master’s Degree within the first year of employment
