The University seeks to engage a Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, Department of Geomatics and Surveying.
Responsibilities
As a Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor: Physics Lecturer, you will be

Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions

Supervise undergraduate student research projects where relevant
-
Engage in active research and innovation in their area of specialisation
-
Participate in community outreach programs and university income-generating activities
-
Participate in examination invigilation and assessment processes
-
Contribute to departmental curriculum development, research, innovation, and industrialization efforts
-

Qualification
-
Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language
-
BSc (Hons) Degree in Physics or Applied Physics
-
Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Physics / Applied Physics / Geophysics / Lasers and Applied Optics / Medical Physics / Instrumentation PhD in Physics or related field is an added advantage
-
Teaching experience at tertiary or university level is preferred
-
Applicants should be capable of teaching the following modules: Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Waves and Optics
