The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, Department of Geography and Environmental Science
Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, Geography and Environmental Science, you will be
-
Assist lecturers in tutoring the following modules: Biography, Natural Resources Management, Safety Health and Environmental Management, and Rangeland Management

Participate in community outreach activities

Participate in University income generation projects
-
Contribute significantly to the research, curriculum development, innovation and industrialization activities, Perform academic and administrative duties as assigned by the Vice-Chancellor through the Head of the Department
Qualification

Applicants must hold a BSc (Honours) Degree in Geography and Environmental Science, Natural Resources Management, Safety, Health, and Environmental Management, Biodiversity Conservation, or an equivalent field, with a minimum of an upper second-class (2
-
1) degree classification from a reputable institution

Five (5) Ordinary level passes including English Language and Mathematics The candidate should have graduated not more than two (2) years at the time of applying

The candidate must be thirty (30) years or below

Successful candidate is expected to enrol for a relevant Master’s Degree within the first year of employment
