The University seeks to engage Principal Assistant Registrars, Faculty in the Registrar’s Department
Responsibilities
As a PRINCIPAL ASSISTANT REGISTRAR, FACULTY, you will be
-
Coordinates provision of efficient Faculty and Registry services to University stakeholders
-
Advises the Dean and other Faculty members on issues pertaining to University policies
-
Ensures that Faculty recommendations are duly submitted to relevant authorities and that the University policies and decisions are observed
-
Monitors expenditure of funds allocated to the Faculty
-
Assists with duties in respect of graduation and other academic ceremonies
-
Plans and coordinates Faculty activities including student records, selection, admission and registration
-
Monitors operation and application of academic regulations in the Faculty
-
Supervises and appraises subordinate staff
-
Provides secretarial services to Faculty Boards, and University Committees as assigned
Qualification
-
A Masters Degree in a related field
-
A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following areas: Management, Education, Administration or related field
-
The ideal applicants should possess five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language
-
At least three (3) years post qualification relevant experience at supervisory or managerial level
