The University seeks to engage Principal Assistant Registrars, Faculty in the Registrar’s Department

Responsibilities

As a PRINCIPAL ASSISTANT REGISTRAR, FACULTY, you will be

  • Coordinates provision of efficient Faculty and Registry services to University stakeholders
  • Advises the Dean and other Faculty members on issues pertaining to University policies
  • Ensures that Faculty recommendations are duly submitted to relevant authorities and that the University policies and decisions are observed
  • Monitors expenditure of funds allocated to the Faculty
  • Assists with duties in respect of graduation and other academic ceremonies
  • Plans and coordinates Faculty activities including student records, selection, admission and registration
  • Monitors operation and application of academic regulations in the Faculty
  • Supervises and appraises subordinate staff
  • Provides secretarial services to Faculty Boards, and University Committees as assigned
Qualification
  • A Masters Degree in a related field
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following areas: Management, Education, Administration or related field
  • The ideal applicants should possess five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language
  • At least three (3) years post qualification relevant experience at supervisory or managerial level
