The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics
Responsibilities
As a TEACHING ASSISTANTS: APPLIED MATHEMATICS, you will be

The successful candidate will support the department through tutoring, conducting Mathematics and Statistics Clinics and contributing to the overall academic development of the department
-
The successful candidate will be a tutor of any applied mathematics modules
-
In addition, the candidate will support the department through conducting Mathematics Clinics and contributing to the overall academic development of the department
-
The successful candidate will be expected to register for an MPhil in Applied Mathematics, specialising in mathematical modeling, and to serve in the capacity of Teaching Assistant
Qualification
-
Hold a BSc (Hons) degree with at least an Upper Second Class (2:1) classification in Applied Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Mathematical Modelling, Industrial Mathematics, Mathematics for AI or Mathematical Sciences

Applicants must have at least of 5 “O” level passes including Mathematics and English Language

The applicant must be 30years or below at the time of application

Applicant should have graduated no more than two (2) years at the time of applying
