Description
The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Natural Resources Management and Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Crop Production
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Assist lecturers in delivering tutorials, practicals, and laboratory sessions in irrigation and water engineering
-
Support students with coursework, assignments, and fieldwork related to irrigation systems, water resource management, and hydrology
-
Conduct demonstrations on irrigation technologies and water conservation practices
-
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to undergraduate students
-
Contribute to research projects and departmental activities
Qualifications and Experience
-
A Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:1 classification or better) in Irrigation and Water Engineering or a closely related field
-
Five O-Level passes, including English and Mathematics Applicants must be 30 years of age or below Must enroll for a Master’s Degree in the 1st year of study

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students

Qualifications must be obtained from a reputable institution
