Description
The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Natural Resources Management and Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Crop Production
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Support lecturers in teaching crop science modules, including plant physiology, crop production, and pest management
-
Assist in laboratory and field experiments, ensuring students gain practical skills in crop cultivation and analysis
-
Guide students in research projects, data collection, and report writing
-
Provide one-on-one academic support to students struggling with coursework
-
Participate in departmental seminars and workshops
Qualifications and Experience
-
A Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:1 classification or better) in Crop Science, Agronomy, or closely related agricultural sciences
-
Five O-Level passes, including English and Mathematics
-
Applicants must be 30 years of age or below
-
Must enroll for a Master’s Degree in the 1st year of study

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students

Qualifications must be obtained from a reputable institution
