The University seeks to engage an Assistant Welder in the Furniture Manufacturing Division
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Material preparation before grinding
-
Fitting assistance according to the welder’s instructions
-
Assessing the quality of woodwork and metal work products
-
Operate basic tools
-
Ensuring compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations
Qualifications and Experience
-
Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language and Mathematics
-
Knowledge and experience in welding skills
-
Two (2) years’ experience as an assistant welder on new works at a workshop site
-
Certificate in welding is an added advantage
