Description
The University seeks to engage a Lecturer in the Faculty of Natural Resources Management and Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Crop Production.
Responsibilities
As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/ Full Professor: Crop Protection, you will be

Participate in University income-generating projects
-
Participate in the invigilation of examinations
-
Supervise post-graduate and undergraduate student research projects
-
Participate in outreach activities in the crop production sector
-
Attract and manage research grants
-
Participate in university services
-
Innovate and facilitate service delivery
-
The applicant should be able to teach the following modules: Biology and Management of Plant Pathogens, Biology and Management of Plant Pests, Weed Biology and Management and any other modules which may be assigned by the Department
Qualification
-
Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language
-
A Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Crop Science or related fields

Applicants must be holders of at least a Master of Science in Crop Protection Degree or equivalent A PhD in Crop Protection will be an added advantage
-
At least one peer reviewed publication
-
At least one-year teaching experience at tertiary level
