The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, Department of Mining Engineering
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Assist Lecturers in delivering tutorials
-
Mark students' assignments and tests
-
Support student research projects
-
Participate in community outreach activities
-
Contribute to the University's income-generating projects
-
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chairperson
Qualifications and Experience
-
At least five (5) Ordinary Level passes including Mathematics, English Language and a Science subject
-
First Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent with at least an upper second (2
-
1) degree classification
-
Applicants must be 30 years of age or below
-
Successful applicants are expected to enroll for a relevant Master’s Degree within the two (2) years of employment
